Think of your website like building a house. The design is the blueprint of how it will look. It is easy to change the layout while in the blueprint or design. When the framers start building the house/website you don’t want to say, hey, I don’t like where that staircase is and please move that bow window. It is much more difficult at that stage to do those things. The pictures and text may change but the basic geometry and color of the website are far more difficult to change at that stage. You would have to go back to the designer and then back to the builder (developer), essentially starting over.
